2013 harvest report

A warm and unusually rainy spring in the Uco Valley created optimal growing conditions for the vines in the vineyard as they woke up
after winter dormancy. Wineries reported that yields increased by nearly 20% over 2012,
with the quality of the grapes picked as just spectacular – all the way from the Rio Negro to Mendoza.

This harvest season was quite challenging due to the weather conditions during the last 10 days of March. Rain and cold temperatures
delayed harvest dates and concentrating the bulk of the harvest into just a three week window.
An outstanding year, the wines of 2013 are notable for strong natural acidity, low pH and an excellent tannin structure.
